coupling“Ewww! That’s just wrong. I’m sorry but they shouldn’t be together. It just doesn’t look right” sentiments often expressed by heterosexuals when seeing a gay couple. we’ve all heard it in some fashion. but this time, those words were spoken by a lesbian about two other lesbians. damn shame. and for what? cuz the couple in question were two studs. fine, it don’t look right to you. whatever that means. but the part that got me what the following comment: “that’s like two men.” huh? that’s was so wrong on so many levels. i can’t even type fast enough to keep up with all the problems that i have with the statement. do i even have to spell it out?

i’m not going to even bother talking about the idea that a lesbian (who is gay) havin’ a problem with gay men. but how can a lesbian fix her mouth to say the same homophobic crap that st8s say about us? studs are not men. we all know that so why go there?

conditioning. plain and simple. so simple that we don’t even see with within ourseves. we are in a hetero-centric society. we are bombarded from the minute we leave the womb that boys do this and gyrls do that. gay isn’t taboo and we mustn’t do these things. even when we realize that we are not heterosexual we still bring that thought process with us to our own homosexual communities. many adopt hetero roles within the gay relationships. and still look at others who don’t do it as if they are wrong. the hypocrisy makes my stomach hurt. mainly because so many of us don’t even realize that we’re doing it and will defend this thought process if confronted by it. classic case of stockholm syndrome.

we break away from one set of rules only to take those very rules and apply it to ourselves anyway. but got the nerve to twist to suit us like that’s gon make it better. two studs can’t be together. but two femmes? das cool. yup. …. oh come on! u’d think a str8 man was making this up. no wait, a str8 man DID make this stuff up. but we’re the ones that’s going to continue to go along with it. please stop.
two womyn together are two womyn. period. that’s it. it doesn’t matter what they’re wearing. femme/stud, femme/femme, stud/stud. don’t matter how u mix it up. it’s still four tits and two vaginas in the bedroom.

that’s a damn shame. lesbians hating on other lesbians for being a lesbian.
just when i thought i’d heard it all…

Two women together are two women together. Period.

Word.

And that’s all that needs to be said really. If a gay person has a problem with 2 studs together, they can get bent. It’s sad that we even have to address an issue like this among fellow gays and lesbians.
