BEING A HARD
CANDY MODEL
F.A.Qs
What type of models are you looking for?
Ready, willing and able are the only qualities needed to be a
Hard Candy model. We do not discriminate against, age, race,
body type or experience. Hard Candy is dedicated to representing
the LGBT community realistically and honestly. It is preferred
that the calendar reflects all members of our community.
What is the pay?
The
Hard Candy calendar proceeds go towards the Breast Cancer
Network of Strength. It is strictly a volunteer project.
However, anyone who models for the calendar can receive a
photo shoot whenever they want from the photographer/designer,
Jennifer Griffin.
Plus you get a copy of the calendar, of course!
What do I need to bring as a model?
Usually just bringing yourself is all we need. Each calendar has
a theme but is driven by the people in it. It is important that
each model is comfortable and being herself. Generally, the
models decide on their own wardrobe and make-up.
Where are you located?
Journey Creative Design Studio doubles as the home of Jennifer
on the far south side of the city of Chicago. All photo shoots
take place within the city. We appreciate the interest shown by
potential models from all over the world. Since this is a
non-for profit project we currently do not have a budget for
travel or accommodations for out of town models.
However, if you find yourself in the Chicagoland area, we will
gladly make the time to see you!
